AN 'IDIOT' drug dealer was caught with crack cocaine and heroin because neighbours smelt cannabis at a city house, a court heard. Krzysztof Drewnicki, aged 20, has been jailed for two years after police raided the premises. He was found with 134 wraps of heroin and 67 rocks of crack cocaine together worth just over £2,000. Judge Lawrie told him as he was taken away from Plymouth Crown Court: "You can use that time to reflect upon how much of an idiot you have been." Drewnicki, of no fixed address, admitted two counts of possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply on September 22. Michael Brown, for the Crown Prosecution Service, said police executed a search warrant in North Street, Greenbank, after reports of a strong aroma of cannabis. Drewnicki was found with wraps of heroin and rocks of cocaine in his jacket and in his underwear. Mr Brown said that a mobile phone was found with messages which showed evidence of drug dealing. But there was no report of any cannabis found on the premises. The court heard that Drewnicki had one previous conviction for assault causing actual bodily harm. Ali Rafati, for the defendant, said the Pole had come from London to "peddle on behalf of others". He added: "This was the first occasion where he had got his hands dirty." Mr Rafati said he was intending to go back to London upon his release. He added: "I am sure you have learnt a valuable lesson about getting involved in drugs." Drewnicki, whose sentence was at the bottom of the range in terms of guidelines for the offence, thanked the judge as he was taken away.
