A LAPTOP containing security information about a charity that helps homeless squaddies has been stolen during a raid on its premises. The computer had templates used to make identity passes for representatives of Homes 4 Heroes which supports ex military personnel in finding somewhere to live. Passes for staff and volunteers have now been changed but the charity advises anyone with concerns about someone claiming to be from them to call. The break in at Cope Street, Rotherhithe, south east London, occurred shortly before 5am on Wednesday. The charity which tries to provide homes and support for forces veterans is backed by TV presenter Bear Grylls. If anyone has any information about the missing white Toshiba laptop Satellite C55 DA14, or the burglary itself, they should call Southwark police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. The charity can be contacted on 020 7237 6363. A 28 year old man has been arrested and charged with burglary and was appearing before Camberwell Green magistrates today.
